2017年にWorld Work Shopが開催され、世界で初めてアメリカ歯周病学会（AAP）と

ヨーロッパ歯周病学会（EFP）が合同で識者を集めて、歯周病の新しい分類を

まとめて先日発表しました。

歯周病の分類が変わるのは1999年以来、１８、１９年ぶりでしょうか。

日本が置いてけぼりにされているのが悲しいですが、日本歯周病学会も

新しい分類に向けて、動くことでしょう。
